KUWAIT: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry participated on Thursday in the second meeting of the Standing Committee for Patent Affairs of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, held virtually as part of efforts to strengthen Gulf integration in the field of intellectual property. Acting Undersecretary of the Ministry, Marwa Al-Jaidan, told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the meeting discussed several agenda items, most notably a recommendation to expand the committee’s mandate to cover all areas of intellectual property.
